4. Carved Into Stone sums up what Prong stands for. This is an album slaked in hostility, personal detachment and seething with the urban paranoia that's long been the mark of this sonic triad. It's 11 tracks that don't merely settle into the New York City-born band's cannon of material that has yielded post-metal classics including Beg to Differ.

7. Eternal Heat is an excellent opening track, and the title track Carved Into Stone is excellent, but my personal favorite is Revenge Best Served Cold. That song reminds me a bit of Who's Fist, Is This Anyway, one of my all time favorite tracks from Prong off of the Clensing album (not the ep of /5(68).
